What is Orana Gardens Village?

Here at Orana Gardens, we are a community owned village, that cater to older adults, providing independent living units. At Orana Gardens Village we also offer much more; lunches, activities, functions, transportation and full maintenance allowing you to retire hassle free. Furthermore, we are conveniently located near Orana Mall with its shopping, outlets and cafes, the Dubbo Regional Botanical Gardens (Wiradjuri, Shoyoen, Sensory and adventure playground), and local transportation, making it easier for you to get to where you need to.

Our large village (16 Acres) offers a warm vibrant atmosphere with access to many support services and recreational activities that allow you to enjoy your retirement to the fullest. Our village is also co-located with our aged-care home. We also offer access to respite care and permanent care.

Independent living units offer several benefits to residents including:

As the name suggests, the primary advantage of these units is that it allows older adults to maintain their freedom. Residents are given their own private space to come and go as they want without losing access to support and services. It allows people to age how they want and spend more time relaxing in comfort, being involved in the village a little or as much as they like. This can strengthen a sense of belonging and offer peace of mind to residents who may be feeling lonely or isolated. Our Village has a forum operated by village residents, to ensure you have your say.

Living at Orana Gardens Village provides quick and easy access to various amenities and services. All our units are renovated prior to occupancy, including modern appliances and whitegoods.

Our Independent living units offer several opportunities for older adults to build meaningful connections within our community. We often run social activities such as fitness classes, lunches, BBQs, outings in our bus, and afternoon teas, providing the chance to make new friends and socialise with peers.
